The Town Center district, encompassing the west side of Collins Avenue from 172nd
Street to and inclusive of Sunny Isles Boulevard, has been the focus of a series
of public workshops held in recent months to plan zoning regulations that will
dictate the shape of residential and commercial development to come.

As you may already be aware of, the Mayor has formed a new committee system.
The traffic and safety committee will have a new name and also new members; the
new committee will be called the Transportation and Traffic Control Committee,
it will have 5 members and the members will be able to appoint citizens to work
with the committee.

Most of us know Connie Morrow as one of the initial Commissioners of Sunny Isles
Beach and other "out there" projects; few know Connie the person.

The Lower Eastside of Manhattan was home to an immigrant family from Poland who
had the courage to embark on a new life in a new land and maintain their religious
principles. This may be familiar to many of you and is the beginning of the family
of Irving Kamlet.

(flim flams) was addressed. In this article, I am continuing this topic by making
everyone aware of a couple of different scams, which are currently being perpetrated
in South Florida. Remember, in all scams the con artist is either preying on
your greed or your need.
