Oceanfront Park is publicly owned and operated as a passive, natural resource-based public outdoor recreational site that was acquired with grant funding from the "Florida Communities Trust Preservation 2000 Program and from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program."
