Baseball
North Miami Beach Little League Baseball. For boys and girls ages 5 and older living in the North Miami Beach, Aventura, Golden Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Island, and Sunny Isles Beach area.
Copy of birth certificate and proof of residency required.
Registration fees are $120. Space is limited. Season runs January to May. Volunteers needed! For more info: www.nmbll.org; playball@nmbll.org. The City partners with the North Miami Beach Little League to provide a baseball program in the winter through spring. Register for the new season!
Softball
North Miami Beach Optimist Little League Softball. For girls ages 9 and older living in the North Miami Beach, Aventura, Golden Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Island, and Sunny Isles Beach area.

Basketball:
The City sponsors recreational basketball for boys and girls ages 5 – 14. As with our other sports programs this one is designed to provide skill development and a recreational opportunity to our youth .The program is run in the parking lot of Heritage Park, 19200 Collins Avenue. Uniform shorts and shirts are provided as part of the registration fee. Games for ages 7 - 14 are played at various local courts in North Miami, bus transportation to the games is provided. Cheerleading
The City sponsors instructional cheerleading for ages 5 – 10 + (depending on enrollment). Practices are held in Town Center Park at 17200 Collins Avenue. Participants are encouraged to develop their skills to the highest level of their ability. The squad cheers for basketball games and other appropriate venues. Soccer:
The City sponsors a recreational soccer program for boys and girls ages 5 – 14. This program is designed to provide skill development and a recreational opportunity to our youth. Practices are at Senator Gwen Margolis Park at 17815 North Bay Road, except for 6 and under age group which are held at Town Center Park. Games are played against other local communities at both their fields and ours. Cleats and shin guards are required for both practices and games. Halloween - Booogie by the Beach
An annual Halloween event, Booogie by the Beach, offers a safe, fun way to celebrate Halloween in the City. This event is held at one of the City parks.
Throughout the year, special events are scheduled to entertain the youth such as: a family fun day in the park, which includes basic fun games to be played as a family; and the City's anniversary party, which includes fun and games for children to participate in.
