If you are presently registered to vote in Miami-Dade County you may request a vote-by-mail ballot online. You may also request a ballot by email, fax, phone or mail. If you prefer, you can print the Vote-by-Mail Ballot Request Form (English/Español) and after filling it out, mail it to the Elections Department. You can also call 305-499-8444 and request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot Request Form.
When you finally receive your vote-by-mail ballot, vote like you normally would, then sign the envelope and mail it to the Department (postage is paid). You can also drop it off at any Early Voting location or the Elections Department main office. Make sure your most recent signature is on file with the department, because your signature is used to validate your vote-by-mail ballot.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is 5 p.m. on the tenth day before the election.
Precincts are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Check out the Voter Toolkit to know what information you need to bring with you to vote.
