Join us at the Back to School Bash as we celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year on Thursday, August 19 at 5:30 pm at Pelican Community Park.

Learn what your child needs for the upcoming school year, and also about upcoming City programs for the whole family. Visit information stations from the NSE/SIB K-8 School, Sunny Isles Beach Police Department, uniform shops and more! There will also be activities for children, music and food available for purchase.

Free parking will be available along 181 Drive and at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. The SIBshuttle provides free transportation within City limits.

Backpack Giveaway

Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID cardholders can pre-register to receive a free backpack at the event. Open to grades K-12. Pre-registration is REQUIRED and child must be present at the event to collect the backpack. Stop by the blue SIB Information tent at the event to pick up your free backpack.
