The Pelican Community Park Playground will be closed all day on Saturday, April 20 for maintenance
The Senator Gwen Margolis Park Soccer Field will be closed for renovations until further notice.
The Government Center entrance from Collins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 15 until further notice.
The historic interior bridge in Atlantic Isle will be closed for restoration work on Friday, April 12 from 8 AM – 4 PM.
The Newport Fishing Pier and Pier Parking lot will be closed until 2 PM on Sunday, April 14 for Casting with a Cop event. The Pier Parking lot will be closed starting Saturday, April 13 at 11 PM.

Does the City provide FREE Shuttle Bus service?

Yes, the city provides free community shuttle service on the “SIBshuttle.” The SIBshuttle bus schedule is available at the SIB Government Center, 1st floor Information Center, Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Rd., and will soon be available online. We now have a mobile application for tracking the SIBshuttle. Download the new app for your Android or iPhone by opening your app store and searching for “SIBshuttle.” The app features a real-time map, a list of stop locations, and service updates.
