Celebrating our Sunny Isles Beach Graduates

Grad-and-go City of Sunny Isles BeachGrad-and-Go

Grad-and-Go is back for the Class of 2021! The City of Sunny Isles Beach invites graduating Sunny Isles Beach middle and high school students and their families to celebrate their accomplishment with a special drive through graduation event on Friday, June 11 from 10 – 11:30 am at Gateway Park, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd.

How will it work?

Graduates and their family will arrive at their confirmed appointment window, and will enter Gateway Park in their vehicle via Sunny Isles Boulevard eastbound and will be directed in front of the stage. There, you are welcome to exit your vehicle to take photos and witness a special presentation. Only one car is permitted per graduate and family.

Graduates who wish to attend this special socially distanced graduation should submit a participation request form no later than Friday, May 28 at 5:00 pm. Once your form has been processed, you will be contacted by the City with a specific time to drive through within the appropriate time slot for your graduation level. All graduation ceremonies will take place the morning of Friday, June 11, 2021.

Meet: Daniela McKenzieGraduating Senior, Daniela McKenzie

Graduating: Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High

Daniela has lived in Sunny Isles Beach her entire life. She will be attending Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service in the fall, and hopes to pursue a career in International Relations. We wish her the best of luck!

Graduating: Mast @ FIU

Joanna has been a Girl Scout for 11 years, and is also the President of the National Honor Society at her high school, Mast @ FIU. She will be attending the University of Florida with plans to obtain a degree in Biology. Best of luck, Joanna!

 

 

Nolan Mast - Graduating SeniorMeet: Nolan Mast

Graduating: Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High

Nolan is a graduate of Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High. He was president of HIP (Health Information Project) and a member of the Hospitality and Capstone Academies. He will be attending Florida International University and majoring in Business Management. Congratulations Nolan!

Arly has lived in Sunny Isles Beach her entire life. She has achieved many academic accomplishments throughout her high school career. She will attend Dartmouth College in the fall and plans to pursue a career in Business Management. We wish her continued success!

Graduating: Alonzo & Tracy Mourning Senior High

Renzo is a 2021 graduate of Alonzo & Tracy Mourning Senior High. This fall, he will be attending the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He plans to obtain his Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematics. Congratulations, Renzo!
