(August 31, 2017) – Information and the timely delivery of pertinent news to our residents and guests will always be a cornerstone of our community policing philosophy. In keeping with that belief, the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is pleased to announce our new crime prevention feature found on our Twitter and Facebook pages. Following your police department using these social media sites will help keep you informed of the latest crime prevention news, public safety alerts and tips for keeping you, your family and property safe from criminal activity, as well as getting to know our officers.
Our commitment to provide quality police service is our promise to you, but crime prevention is a community/police department partnership and it all begins with being well informed and taking the necessary steps to prevent crime before it occurs. Simple tips such as locking your home, vehicle and safeguarding your belongings are proven measures to prevent crime, as most criminals are opportunists looking for an easy target. Having well informed and alert residents will make a safer community for us all.
For other helpful information, follow us on Twitter and Facebook and join our team, on the information superhighway to a safer community; it is a responsibility we all share! We look forward to your comments and feedback.
