The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department wants to make sure you are riding safely on bicycles and scooters. This requires not only wearing a helmet at all times but also making sure your helmet fits properly.
The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department participates in a Bicycle Helmet Fitting and Giveaway program that provides children, teens and adults with free properly-fitted helmets. You can call the Sandra Block with the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department at 305.792.1839 to make an appointment to be fitted for a free helmet. Helmets will be fitted and given away at the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department, 2nd Floor of the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue.
A limited supply of helmets is available in various sizes. Helmets are available on a first-come-first-served basis. When supplies run out there may be a waiting period until a new shipment arrives.
Parents/legal guardians must accompany children.
