Beach Sand Renourishment to Commence March 25 – April 30 from 185 – 175 Street & Collins Avenue

(Monday, March 18, 2019) — A beach sand renourishment project will commence on Monday, March 25, 2019. This project will take place from approximately 185 – 175 Street & Collins Avenue and is projected to take 5 – 6 weeks. During this time, the beach will remain open but access may be partially or fully modified. A temporary construction fence will be set up on the beach in the affected areas for the safety of beachgoers.

The project will begin on Monday, March 25 and will last until approximately Tuesday, April 30. Project hours are 7:30 am – 5:30 pm on weekdays and 9 am – 5:30 pm on Saturdays (if applicable).
