M-DCPS Announces August Dates for School Age Immunizations & COVID-19 Testing, Vaccination Program

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) continues to partner with the University of Miami Health System (UHealth) Pediatric Mobile Clinic to offer required immunizations, vaccines and testing at dozens of schools throughout the District.

The UHealth Pediatric Mobile Clinic sites will be providing the mandatory school-required vaccines for the 2022-2023 school year, for students entering kindergarten and 7th grade in the fall, and for any student that is missing a school-age vaccine. Parents can avoid the back-to-school rush by getting their children vaccinated during the summer.

UHealth will also be offering the COVID-19 vaccine as well as the flu vaccine and COVID-19 testing. COVID-19 vaccine booster shots will also be available to eligible students.

To be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, students MUST be at least six months old on the day they are receiving it. They must also have a completed COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form, which will be available at the sites. Walk-ups are welcome.

Attached are fliers in English, Spanish and Haitian-Creole listing the vaccination locations, dates and times throughout August that are available to the community.
