Beginning Monday, April 27, 2020, all City of Sunny Isles Beach visitors and employees will be required to undergo a screening prior to entering any City facility. The screening consists of a series of questions and a contactless temperature check. Once the individual passes the screening, they will be provided with a wristband that must be visible at all times within the facility.
Screenings will take place at the first floor of the Government Center parking garage near the west entrance of the Government Center and library book drop. Visitors will only be allowed access to the Government Center at this location. Screenings will take place between 5:30 am and 6 pm. Visitors may drive up or walk up for screenings.
Visitors should arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete the screening. After completing the screening in the parking garage, you will need to check-in and obtain a visitor badge on the first floor inside the Government Center near the elevators. Any visitor that does not check-in will be asked to leave immediately. Learn more at sibfl.net/screenings.
Most Government Center services have moved to appointment only. For Government Center services offered by appointment only, please visit sibfl.net/appointments
The Police Department remains open 24 hours a day. Anyone visiting the Police Department for after-hours emergency services should enter the building via the second floor of the parking garage. All visitors will be screened upon entry to the Police Department.
