AARP Tax Aide: Tax Return Preparation & Filing

AARP Tax Aide offers free tax preparation to seniors 50+ with low to moderate incomes. Anyone with an income greater than $72,000 is not eligible for this service.
Registration is available in-person only at Gateway Center, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd. Upon registering, taxpayers will be given an AARP Tax Aide envelope containing information about the paperwork needed to complete their tax return. In the envelope will be a form 13614-C, which must be completed BEFORE the taxpayer arrives at their appointed time.
The following items should be brought with you to your appointment:
- The completed 13614-C form
- Social Security Card
- Photo ID
- Tax Documents
- A snack or reading material, as sometimes the wait can be long.
