  • Daily (except Tuesdays & Fridays), Sunrise – 9 PM
  • Tuesdays & Fridays, 10:30 AM – 9 PM

No trespassing outside of park hours. All Sunny Isles Beach Police Department Officers are authorized representatives and may advise any person to leave these premises. Failure to vacate the premises after being so instructed may result in an arrest for trespassing after warning pursuant to Florida Statutes 810.08 and 810.09.

Description

Located on the ocean at Sunny Isles Beach Boulevard and Collins Avenue, this park is the access point to the beach. The Newport Fishing Pier is open for fishing and walking for a small fee.  A lifeguard station is located at this park for swimmers’ safety during operational hours.

Metered parking is available and enforced at Pier Park, 24 hours a day / 365 days a year.

General Rules

  • Shoes must be worn at all times
  • No loud music
  • No bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades or motorized modes of transportation
  • No pets
  • No walking, climbing or sitting on railings
  • No jumping or diving from the pier
  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No glass containers, plastic straws or polystyrene (styrofoam)
  • No smoking

Fishing Rules

  • Fishing ONLY PERMITTED east of the yellow line
  • Three (3) rod limit per person
  • No cast net, hoop net or frame net fishing
  • Non snatch hooks, kite or shark fishing
  • No yoyo, hard lines or treble hooks fishing
  • No fishing reels over 4/0
  • No trolley rigs
  • Place discarded monofilament line into recycling bins
  • Place excess bait, fish cleaning refuse or unusable matter/waste into waste containers at cleaning tables (do no discard bait or fish into the ocean)
  • Bait cutting/fish cleaning only permitted at designated cleaning stations
  • No fishing allowed within 100 feet of marine turtles
