Earth Day at Haulover Park

The City of Sunny Isles Beach is sponsoring an Earth Day volunteer event at Haulover Park, hosted by Miami-Dade Parks. Join us as we plant new butterfly pollinators and larval host plants at the butterfly garden on Haulover Park’s north end. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who are looking to volunteer for a few hours at Miami-Dade Parks.

Miami-Dade Parks will provide work gloves, sanitized tools and other supplies needed. To help protect yourself and others, a facial covering and social distancing is recommended. Also, consider bringing your own refillable water bottle to stay hydrated and any personal snacks. Closed-toed shoes, a hat, and comfortable clothing are recommended.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required through Miami-Dade Parks.
