FTRI Telephone Demo & Distribution

The Center for Independent Living of Broward will facilitate the distribution of free phones to eligible SIB residents. To qualify for a free phone, you must be a permanent Florida resident at least 3 years old, and have a certified hearing loss or speech impairment. These phones are provided by the non-profit Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. Limit one phone per customer.

When you come to pick up your phone, bring two verifications of eligibility below:

• Proof of Florida Residency (Driver’s License, Florida ID or Voters Registration Card)
• Verification of hearing loss or speech impairment (Hearing aids, results of hearing test)
