The Pelican Community Park Playground will be closed all day on Saturday, April 20 for maintenance
The Senator Gwen Margolis Park Soccer Field will be closed for renovations until further notice.
The Government Center entrance from Collins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 15 until further notice.
The historic interior bridge in Atlantic Isle will be closed for restoration work on Friday, April 12 from 8 AM – 4 PM.
The Newport Fishing Pier and Pier Parking lot will be closed until 2 PM on Sunday, April 14 for Casting with a Cop event. The Pier Parking lot will be closed starting Saturday, April 13 at 11 PM.

Resident gets blood pressure screening at Blood Pressure event.

The City of Sunny Isles Beach in partnership with Mount Sinai Medical Center is offering monthly wellness screenings, including blood pressure and glucose screenings. Cholesterol checks will be offered this month as well, and are only offered twice a year. Open to all residents, visitors and City employees.
