
Booogie by the Beach

Come one, come all Under the Big Top for a night of frights and fun. Our Haunted ‘CarnEvil’ will arrive for two nights only. Tickets for the Haunted House will be available for purchase at the event. Booogie by the Beach will take place on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 from 7 – 10 PM at Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road.
Take a walk through the Haunted House for lots of frights and fun. Enjoy games, crafts, rides, a photo booth and other attractions for the whole family. Think you’re the spookiest witch out there? Enter our costume contest in the gym, and you could win prizes! Food will be available for purchase to satisfy the hungriest of werewolves.
Wristbands
Wristbands are required for everyone for entry to the event. Wristbands are $20. Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID cardholders receive a special discounted price of $5. Children ages 2 and under are free. You MUST have a valid city-issued Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID card to receive the resident discount of $5. Wristbands are valid for both nights of the event.
Wristbands may be purchased online and can be picked up now through Thursday, October 26 at Gateway Center, the Government Center or Pelican Community Park. On Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 wristbands will only be available for purchase at Pelican Community Park.
Costume Contest
This year our Costume Contest will include a parade beginning at 8 PM. To enter the contest, meet by the stage on the baseball field at 7:45 PM.
Costume Contest winners will be chosen for the following categories and age groups:
Age Groups
Tots (5 years and younger)
Youth (6 – 12 years old) Teen (13 – 17 years old) Adult (18+ years)Each group is awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes along with one winner for Overall Scariest, Most Original and Best Group.
The City of Sunny Isles Beach reserves the right to deem any costume inappropriate or offensive, which will disqualify the participants from the contest.

Parking is along Atlantic Boulevard, the NSE/SIB K-8 School parking garage, and at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. The SIBshuttle provides free transportation within city limits.
