Cultural Trip: Butterfly World

Discover the miracle of metamorphosis at Butterfly World! A guide will lead you through the life cycle of the butterfly. The research laboratory presents a constantly changing display of unique larva and pupa from our butterfly farm. Adult butterflies are the stars in three giant aviaries, brimming with tens of thousands or “rain forest flyers!” Enjoy tropical bird aviaries, a swinging Tinalandia Bridge, Macaw Landing, a Butterfly Museum, and the live Bug Zoo!

Bus departs the Government Center at 10 am. Tour begins at 11 am. Bus returns at approximately 4 pm. Heavy walking is required.

Tickets are $20 or $15 with a valid City-issued SIB Resident ID Card.

Tickets may be purchased online at activities.sibfl.net, or in-person at Pelican Community Park or the SIB Government Center.
