Egg Scramble

Hip Hop Hooray, we are bringing some fun your way!
Hop on over to Pelican Community Park for our annual Egg Scramble. Search far and wide for over 40,000 eggs. The scrambles will be separated into the following age groups:
- 0 – 3 years: Pelican Community Park Baseball Field Third Base Line
- 4 – 7 years: Pelican Community Park Baseball Field First Base Line
- 8 – 11 years: Pelican Community Park Gymnasium – Flashlight Egg Hunt
- 12 – 15 years: Pelican Community Park Gymnasium – Flashlight Egg Hunt
After your scramble, stick around and challenge your adventurous side with amusement rides, and use the luck of your rabbit’s foot to create some really fun crafts. Come ready to sniff out all the yummy snacks available for purchase.
Wristband Pickup
A wristband is required for everyone to enter the event. Wristbands are available to purchase online and in-person at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Pelican Community Park or Gateway Center. If purchasing your wristbands online, they may be picked up at the above-mentioned facilities prior to Saturday, April 8. You may also pick up your wristbands at the event, beginning at 8:30 AM on 182nd Drive.
Make sure you have your wristbands now, so you are prepared when the egg hunt begins on Saturday at 10 AM sharp.
Wristbands are $5 for active Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID cardholders and $20 for non-residents. Children 2 and under are free, but they still must be registered and wear a wristband.
Parking
Event parking will be available in the Norman S. Edelcup Garage, along Atlantic Boulevard and at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. Ride the SIBshuttle and receive your own pair of bunny ears. The SIBshuttle provides free transportation within Sunny Isles Beach.
Road Closures
182 Drive and a portion of 181 Drive will be closed beginning Friday, April 7 at 6 AM through Saturday, April 8 at 5 PM. Resident-only traffic will be permitted between Atlantic Boulevard and the road closure barricades to access residential units along 181 Drive.
Park Closures
The gymnasium at Pelican Community Park will be closed for Egg Scramble beginning Friday, April 7, through Saturday, April 8. The gym will reopen for regular hours on Sunday morning, April 9.
The baseball field at Pelican Community Park will be closed for Egg Scramble beginning Friday, April 7 through Saturday, April 8. The baseball field will reopen for regular hours of operation on Sunday, April 9.
