Gateway Park will be closed on Monday, April 29 & Tuesday, April 30 for maintenance.
The Pelican Community Park Playground will be closed all day on Saturday, April 20 for maintenance
The Senator Gwen Margolis Park Soccer Field will be closed for renovations until further notice.
The Government Center entrance from Collins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 15 until further notice.
Construction work at Samson Oceanfront Park will take place over the next few days as our Public Works department installs new changing stations. Please use caution when walking through the area.

Parking Lot (P2) located under the William Lehman Causeway will be partially closed beginning Monday, June 5, 2023.
PARKING LOT CLOSURE: Collins Avenue Median Parking Lot (P3) Closed beginning Monday, May 1.
The playground at Samson Oceanfront Park will be intermittently CLOSED for repairs.
Gateway Park will close at 12 PM on Wednesdays in preparation for Gateway Market.
LANE CLOSURE: 2 westbound and 2 eastbound lanes along the SR 826 / Sunny Isles Boulevard Bridge CLOSED 24/7 …

Bella Vista Bay Park, 500 Sunny Isles Blvd, is CLOSED for maintenance.
Fishing at the Bella Vista Bay parking lot, 500 Sunny Isles Blvd. is NOT allowed.

Parking Lot (P2) located under the William Lehman Causeway will be partially closed beginning Monday, June 5, 2023.

As the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) continues its project on the William Lehman Causeway Bridge, a partial closure of Parking Lot (P2) under the William Lehman Causeway will be required.

Beginning Monday, June 5, the east end of Parking Lot (P2) will be closed. Parking will be allowed at the west end of the lot in sections A-F only.

The public is advised to find alternative parking at nearby locations including:

Heritage Park Garage, 19200 Collins Avenue (P8)
Ellen Wynne Beach Access (P1) (no commercial parking)
Under the William Lehman Causeway (P2)
- Sections A-F only from 7 AM – 6 PM
