The Pelican Community Park Playground will be closed all day on Saturday, April 20 for maintenance
The Senator Gwen Margolis Park Soccer Field will be closed for renovations until further notice.
The Government Center entrance from Collins Avenue will be closed starting Monday, April 15 until further notice.
The historic interior bridge in Atlantic Isle will be closed for restoration work on Friday, April 12 from 8 AM – 4 PM.
The Newport Fishing Pier and Pier Parking lot will be closed until 2 PM on Sunday, April 14 for Casting with a Cop event. The Pier Parking lot will be closed starting Saturday, April 13 at 11 PM.

In Memoriam – Jane A. Hines, City Clerk

On Monday, April 17, 2017 the City of Sunny Isles Beach said goodbye to Jane A. Hines, City Clerk one final time as she passed away peacefully. Just as she would want, with no fanfare, we honor her silently as all City flags will remain lowered at half-staff in her memory between April 17 – April 23, 2017.
