Parks and Recreation Master Plan

Update (October 3, 2023): Following the collection of input from our residents through surveys and in-person public engagement events, we are pleased to announce significant progress in our Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Our consultant presented the results during the April 2023 Commission Meeting. Subsequently, the feedback provided by residents was consolidated into the comprehensive master plan and was presented during the Commission Workshop in September 2023.

Update (March 21, 2023): As we continue to collect input from our residents, our Parks & Recreation Master Plan consultant has been compiling your feedback to present to the City Commission. This data will be presented at the next Regular City Commission Meeting on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

If you have not already taken the online survey, please do so. It will remain open until Sunday, April 23, 2023.

(January 2, 2023) – The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is underway as our Cultural & Community Services Department seeks to gain important feedback from residents to build a longstanding future for the City’s parks and recreation services.

We have launched a public engagement platform for residents to provide input on the needs and priorities for the parks and recreation facilities in our community.
