Website Redesign Project

We are excited to announce our website is getting a makeover!  

Over the next year, we will be working with Granicus to build a brand new user-friendly, secure, ADA compliant and modern website. The City envisions a new website that enhances the user experience, simplifies content management, and provides resident-focused information and premier service, while meeting high standards for design and visual appeal.  

Website Redesign Project

The website redesign project will consist of four phases: architecture, design and development, user training, and launch.  

Architecture

During the architecture phase, the company will conduct website data analysis, user research, and user testing. This will ensure we design a website that bridges the City’s goals with user needs.  

Design & Development

The design and development phase will include building the website based on the data collected and analyzed during our research.  

Training

Following the design and development of the new website, the City will undergo extensive user training to learn how to properly maintain and run the website.   

Launch

Once the website is finalized, we will unveil it to the community.  

User Input

We anticipate the new website to launch in April of 2024. We recently completed our Community Survey, where users provided detailed feedback on the website, including what webpages or services they frequently access, opinions on the usability and functionality of the current website, and what they would like included on the new website.

After this survey, we undertook a navigation study, asking users to answer a series of questions. This data will help determine how to organize the content on our new website to better serve the Sunny Isles Beach community. All website users were invited to participate in the survey and navigation study, including Sunny Isles Beach residents, visitors, neighbors, contractors & vendors, local businesses, and City or school employees.
