SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla. (April 11, 2024) – The City of Sunny Isles Beach is set to decorate the city with creativity as it unveils the artwork of the Sunny Spaces Art Contest winners at the new Gateway Artway. The unveiling is open to the public and will take place on Monday, April 15, coinciding with World Art Day, at 6 p.m. at Gateway Center, 151 Sunny Isles Boulevard.
The Sunny Spaces Art Contest was developed in celebration of the city’s 25th Anniversary under the initiative of the Public Art Program. Artists were tasked with creating an original piece incorporating the theme of the sun. Out of numerous submissions, 25 were selected to be featured as a public art installation.
This initiative not only enriches the city with more art but also serves as a testament to the incredible talent of our local artists. By showcasing these pieces of art, we aim to immerse both residents and visitors in the cultural beauty that defines Sunny Isles Beach.
