“Florida for Ukraine in partnership with the City of Sunny Isles Beach is glad to offer the educational event to refugees and their families regarding their next steps in US,” says Rafi Nagli, Florida for Ukraine’s president. “The event will cover all the questions refugees are seeking answers to and the information they will need very soon.”
As the war in Ukraine continues, Florida for Ukraine and the City of Sunny Isles Beach are partnering to provide refugees from Ukraine the support they need to adjust to life in the States. South Florida has become home to many Ukrainian refugees, and the community is stepping up to assist in any way they can.
The goal of the event is to provide Ukrainian refugees with the resources they need to start their new lives. With a strong foundation and network, South Florida is able to welcome refugees and support them through this transition. For those unable to attend the event, please visit fl4ua.org for additional resources.
“We are grateful for the community’s response, and the City is proud to assist in any way we can,” says Sunny Isles Beach Mayor Dana Goldman. “We want to wholeheartedly thank Florida for Ukraine for organizing this event and their unwavering dedication to aiding Ukraine. It is inspiring to witness how we have all come together in unity for this cause.”
