One of the first parts opened in the City, this park is currently closed for a long overdue renovation. Beach access will remain available.
This 2.1 acre park is located on oceanfront land. Oceanfront Park is publicly owned and operated as a passive natural resource-based public outdoor recreational site that was acquired with grant funding from the “Florida Communities Trust Preservation 2000 Program” and from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s “Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program.”

No Dogs Allowed. No Fishing from the Shore.
The city’s free Community Shuttle Service provides transportation to the park.
Samson Park Redevelopment
The City Commission has approved a contract to redevelop Samson Oceanfront Park.
Update: January 19, 2016 — Samson Oceanfront Park will be CLOSED for renovation of the park, beginning on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Access to the beach will remain available. For patrons’ convenience, temporary restrooms will be set up nearby.
