The City of Sunny Isles Beach will reopen select parks on Wednesday, May 6. Those select parks will reopen on a limited schedule. The City welcomes its residents to enjoy the reopened parks for passive use only such as walking and/or jogging while adhering to specific guidelines and restrictions. *Dogs only allowed in designated area unless they are specifically trained as a service dog.
The leash-free dog area is located at the south side of the park, open every day from 7:30 am to 8:45 pm.
Nominate a Veteran
The Veterans Wall at Heritage Park displays the names of Sunny Isles Beach residents that have served our country in the military. Every year new names of Sunny Isles Beach residents who have served in the United States Armed Forces are added to the wall.
*Nomination applications are available online or at the Government Center at 18070 Collins Avenue or Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road. Please bring proof of honorable discharge from military service and proof of residency in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Your SIB Resident ID can be used as proof of residency or a utility bill with the veteran’s name.
