Nominate a Veteran

The Veterans Wall at Heritage Park displays the names of Sunny Isles Beach residents that have served our country in the military. Every year new names of Sunny Isles Beach residents who have served in the United States Armed Forces are added to the wall.

*Nomination applications are available online or at the Government Center at 18070 Collins Avenue or Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road. Please bring proof of honorable discharge from military service and proof of residency in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Your SIB Resident ID can be used as proof of residency or a utility bill with the veteran’s name.

*Any non-City organized events (festivals, entertainment, birthday parties etc.) must be approved ahead of time. Contact the Cultural & Community Services Department at 305.792.1706 for more information, or stop by Pelican Community Park at 18115 North Bay Road.
