Beginning Monday, June 1, hours of operation at Samson Oceanfront Park will be from 7 am – 8 pm daily. The City welcomes its residents to enjoy the reopened parks for passive use only such as walking and/or jogging while adhering to specific guidelines and restrictions. This 2.1-acre park is located on oceanfront land. Named after Gilbert Samson, “Samson Oceanfront Park” is publicly owned and operated as a passive, natural resource-based, public, outdoor recreational site that was acquired with grant funding from the “Florida Communities Trust Preservation 2000 Program,” and from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s, “Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program.”
