Take the ECOMMITTED Pledge to Compost
Take the pledge to compost your waste and receive a free composting bin at Gateway Market!
Gateway Market offers an opportunity for residents to compost. Composting enriches soil and helps it retain moisture, while also reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and helping to lower your carbon footprint.
Stop by the Compost for Life tent at Gateway Market and sign the pledge to receive your free ECOMMITTED composting bin. The composting bin is perfect to place on your countertop to hold food scraps and waste, including the compostable items listed below. Bring your bin to Gateway Market on Wednesdays and drop off your food scraps at the Compost for Life tent on the west side of the park. Community Garden
We partnered with the Chabad RC of South Florida The Gan Frida to add a community garden to Gateway Park. We invite the community to grow this garden together! Stop by Gateway Market every Wednesday from 5:30 – 10 PM and look for the garden on the southwest side of the park.
We ask that you do not cut, rip or pull items from the garden. If you would like to enjoy the vegetation, please join the gardener every Wednesday during Gateway Market from 5:00 – 6:00 PM.
